Public transport

Plan your journey using NS's journey planner. Once you have arrived at Utrecht Central Station, follow the route below:

• Choose exit Centrum.
• Turn left through the sliding doors and walk under the glass roof towards shopping centre Hoog Catharijne.
• Enter Hoog Catharijne through the sliding doors, turn right and keep to the right (walk past shops JD Sports and Lush).
• Keep following the corridor and walk all the way straight ahead.
• After 150 metres, you will see the Albert Heijn supermarket on your right.
• Straight ahead, you now see the entrance to Hoog Overborch offices (next to restaurant Hagenouw). Enter here and ring the bell of SURF.
• SURF is on the 4th floor.

From the A2 motorway coming from Amsterdam

• Take exit 8 Utrecht Centrum.
• See further Continuation A2/A12/A27/A28 below.

From the A2 from Den Bosch

• Take exit 8 Utrecht Centrum.

From the A12 from Arnhem and A27 from Breda

• First follow Ring Utrecht/Nieuwegein.
• Take Ring Utrecht West/Amsterdam (A2).
• Take exit 8 Utrecht Centrum.

From the A12 from The Hague/Rotterdam

• Follow A2/Amsterdam and take exit 8 Utrecht Centrum.

From the A28 from Amersfoort

• Follow the signs Ring Utrecht/Jaarbeurs (A27), then direction Utrecht Noord.
• Take exit 30 Veemarkthallen.
• After the exit, turn left under the motorway.
• From here, follow the signs 'Centrum' and then the signs 'Hoog Catharijne'.
• On Weerdsingel, turn left at the traffic lights at the roundabout.

From the A27 from Hilversum

• Follow Ring Utrecht Oost, taking exit 30 Veemarkthallen.
• From here, follow the signs 'Centrum' and then the signs 'Hoog Catharijne'.
• On Weerdsingel, turn left at the roundabout at the traffic lights.
• See continuation A2/A12/A27/A28 below.

Please note: due to works in the Utrecht Centraal station area, the traffic routes change regularly. For the current status on the CU2030 website..

• Drive in the direction of Centrum/Station and follow the signs 'Hoog Catharijne (P1)'.
• Then turn right on Catharijnebaan halfway up the viaduct at the 'Station' sign.
• Immediately take the 2nd street to the right at the signs ' Parkeergarage (P1)'. This car park is located on Spoorstraat. We advise you to use this car park.

From P1

• Take the lift to Hoog Catharijne.
• Walk past the Albert Heijn supermarket (on your right).
• Straight ahead you will see the entrance to Hoog Overborch offices. Enter here and ring the bell at SURF.
• SURF is on the 4th floor.

From P2

• Take the lift to Hoog Catharijne.
• Walk straight ahead (past De Natuurwinkel and Madame Cocos).
• After 500 metres walk past the Albert Heijn supermarket (on your right).
• Straight ahead you will see the entrance to Hoog Overborch offices. Enter here and ring the bell of SURF.
• SURF is on the 4th floor.

From P3 Radboud

• Take the Hoog Catharijne exit.
• Keep left past the shop H&M.
• Follow the curve to the left. Straight ahead you will see the JD Sports shop.
• Keep right (past JD Sports and Lush).
• Keep following the corridor to the right and walk straight ahead.
• After 500 metres, walk past the Albert Heijn supermarket (on your right).
• Straight ahead you will see the entrance to Hoog Overborch offices. Enter here and ring the bell of SURF.
• SURF is on the 4th floor.

From P4 Stationsstraat

• Take the Hoog Catharijne exit.
• Walk into the shopping centre with the Media Markt on your left.
• Walk past the Game Mania shop and turn right.
• Follow the bend to the left. Straight ahead you will see the JD Sports shop.
• Keep right (past JD Sports and Lush).
• Keep following the corridor to the right and walk all the way straight ahead.
• After 500 metres, walk past the Albert Heijn supermarket (on your right).
• Straight ahead you will see the entrance to Hoog Overborch offices. Enter here and ring the bell of SURF.

Navigation systems

Are you using a navigation system? The street name 'Science Park' has not yet been implemented in some systems. In that case, enter: Kruislaan 419 (the old address of Science Park 140) or Kruislaan 415 (the old address of the data centre).

Passenger cars

Take the Amsterdam ring road (A10), exit 'Watergraafsmeer/S113'. Follow signs for 'Science Park'. On Middenweg, turn right at Kruislaan. After the railway tunnel, the road is called Science Park. Follow the signs.

Trucks/coaches higher than 3.35 m

Take the Amsterdam ring road (A10), exit 'Zeeburg/S114'. Follow Zuiderzeeweg, Flevoweg, Insulindeweg, Molukkenstraat, Carolina MacGillavrylaan.

Taxis

There are taxi ranks at all stations. You can also order a taxi by phone: +31-206777777. From Amsterdam Central Station, it takes about 15 minutes by taxi to Science Park Amsterdam.

Parking

There is paid parking at the Amsterdam Science Park.

• Visitors and suppliers have to draw a ticket from the ticket machine when entering the car park. This ticket is valid for 1 hour; you can then drive in and out of the car park for free within 1 hour.
• Visitors can receive an exit card with which they can open the barrier by presenting this card at the exit terminal. Exit cards are available at reception.

As of 31 Dec 2020, the legal unification of the SURF operating companies is a fact. This unification was effected by a legal merger whereby SURFsara B.V. acquired the entire assets of SURFnet B.V. and SURFmarket B.V. by universal title and SURFmarket B.V. and SURFnet B.V. ceased to exist. At the same time, the statutory name of SURFsara B.V. was changed to SURF B.V.
