Setting the right tone for the future together will be central during the education & IT event of the year: the SURF Education Days on 12 and 13 November. During the 26th edition, we inspire participants to look ahead and outline the educational developments that will become relevant in the coming years.

Frequently asked questions SURF Education Days
Below are frequently asked questions about the SURF Education Days for participants. Is your question not listed? Then contact us at owd@surf.nl.
Registration and cancellation conditions
No, payment for a ticket for the SURF Education Days is via iDeal or credit card. You must therefore pay in advance. After payment you will receive the (already paid) invoice for your own administration and/or declaration.
This is possible up to three weeks before the start of the SURF Education Days. After that, the cancellation conditions apply.
We have group registration from six people upwards with payment by invoice. Please email owd@surf.nl for a separate registration link and instructions.
When paying by group invoice, the invoice is sent to the first e-mail address specified in the registration form. The invoice itself must then be forwarded to the finance department.
Location
The SURF Education Days will take place at Amare in The Hague. The address is Spuiplein 150, 2511 DG The Hague.

There are several car parks near Amare, such as Q-Park Spui, Stadhuis, Turfmarkt, Muzenplein and Veerkaden. At Q-Park City Parking, you can park all evening (from 6pm) for €15. This car park is a 10-minute walk from Amare. More information via this link.
The Hague also has a number of Park + Ride (P+R) spaces. You park your car at these spots on the outskirts of the city at a low rate and then travel further by public transport to the city centre. Read more about it here.

Event app
This year, for the first time, we are using a new event app called Yellenge. In the app, you will find everything about the programme, speakers and venue. Get ready to make the most of your visit.
Usability
- Mark sessions as favourites - For each session, you can see how many people have marked the session as a favourite and how many places are available. So you can estimate whether there is still room to participate. Note: marking a session as a favourite does not mean that you are subscribed. This only allows you to put together your personal programme in the app.
- Photowall-In the photowall you can upload photos that will be displayed on different screens at the venue, allowing you to share your experiences with others directly. Uploaded photos do not appear in the app and are automatically deleted from the database after 30 days.
- Review sessions - Give your feedback after each session to help us further improve the experience.
- Make your profile visible - By making your profile visible and bookmarking sessions, other participants can see which sessions you plan to attend.
Download instructions
- Open the app 'Yellenge' and use the event code: OWD24.
- Log in with your personal code. You will receive the code in the mail. (If you did not receive the code, please send an e-mail to owd@surf.nl or visit us during the Education Days at the information desk).
If you download the Yellenge event app, you accept that personal data will be processed. You can read more about this in SURF's privacy statement.
Would you rather not download an app? Then visit our website for all the information.
Have badges scanned on site
During SURF Education Days, you can decide to have your badge scanned at a number of sessions or at the stands at the networking plaza. This option is entirely without obligation. By scanning, your data can be used to send you additional information after the conference. If you give permission to have your badge scanned, you agree that you may be contacted by the party/parties involved via email.''
Recordings
Yes, the plenary sessions and some parallel sessions will be recorded. These will be available after SURF Education Days to all attendees of the event. After the event, the recordings will also be made publicly available to anyone who did not attend. For more information, see the privacy statement on SURF.nl.
During SURF events, external camera journalists are sometimes present to provide an atmospheric impression of the event. In some cases, they also conduct short interviews with visitors and speakers. You give permission for these short interviews. The atmospheric impression will only be published after the interviewees' approval.
Would you rather not appear in a video? Then ask for a red key cord when entering the event and wear it throughout the day.
