About the workshop

Do you want to develop a vision on (digital) testing within your institution, faculty or programme? This vision tool from the Working Group on Remote Testing helps to discuss the future perspective on testing. The publication 'Future perspective on (digital) testing and assessment' has been used as a starting point for this tool. In the future perspective, we see five dimensions. Because institutions and study programmes differ greatly from one another, the way in which a particular dimension takes shape will also differ. This vision tool helps to discuss the colouring of these dimensions within an organisation (section).

For whom?

Educational advisors, testing experts, programme directors, examination boards, programme committees, lecturers, ICTO Coaches, and others involved with testing in senior secondary vocational education (MBO), higher vocational education (HBO) or academic higher education (WO)!

When.

We will give the same workshop three times. You are welcome to attend one of these times.

  • Monday 30-9-2024 from 16.00-17.00
  • Tuesday 1-10-2024 from 16.00-17.00
  • Thursday 3-10-2024 from 16.00-17.00

Programme

During the workshop, you will discover what the Vision Tool (digital) testing is. The Vision Tool is going to help you start the discussion with propositions on 10 different components. Here, you can think about the extent to which testing and learning should be integrated, tests should be authentic and whether tests should be place- and time-independent. Together we walk through the Vision Tool so that you can use it immediately in your team.
