Done with X? Discover Mastodon and Bluesky as future-proof social media
Are you also increasingly thinking about alternatives to social media platforms like X (Twitter) and Meta's Facebook, Instagram and Threads? Discover the possibilities of Mastodon and Bluesky in the information and inspiration session for communication professionals in education and research on 18 March.

Mastodon and Bluesky offer more control and better align with public values. But what can you do with these decentralised social media platforms for your institution? During the session, you will gain insight into the possibilities, differences and practicalities of switching or combining.
What can you expect?
You will get answers to the following questions, among others:
- What are the differences and similarities between Mastodon and Bluesky?
- How much time does switching or double posting take?
- What considerations can you make when thinking about stopping, reducing or continuing on X/Twitter now?
- Do Mastodon and Bluesky also offer tools to schedule content?
- Also, what is the difference between Mastodon, the Fediverse and centralised vs decentralised social media platforms?
