Npuls

Npuls is an initiative within the National Growth Fund programme, in which all public mbo schools, colleges and universities in the Netherlands are working together on the future of further education. This is done on various themes, such as digital learning materials, extended reality (XR), digital testing, AI and data.

NRO - onderwijskennis.nl

On onderwijskennis.nl, a platform of the National Educational Research Organisation (NRO), you will find scientific insights on education. Find out more about blended learning or internships and practical learning. Or take a look at the knowledge roundabout, where you can read answers to previous questions or ask a question yourself.

Incentive scheme Open and online education (2015-2025)

Between 2015 and 2025, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science made funding available for innovation within higher education through the Open and Online Education Incentive Scheme. This resulted in projects focusing on:

  • Development and use of open online education, to directly or indirectly improve education within courses.
  • Sharing and reuse of OER, with institutions working together in professional communities and developing or re-developing new material where necessary.

Education Innovation Acceleration Plan (2019 - 2022)

The Education Innovation with ICT Acceleration Plan was a four-year programme (2019-2022) that capitalised on the opportunities of digitisation in higher education. It led to improvements in education quality and had three main ambitions:

  1. Better connection to the labour market
  2. More flexibility in education
  3. Smarter and better learning with technology

Within this plan, working groups and zones worked on various innovation themes, such as:
