GPT-NL
SURF, through GPT-NL, is working together with TNO and NFI on the development of its own open language model, to strengthen and safeguard our digital sovereignty.
The non-profit organisations TNO, NFI and SURF are joining forces to develop this model. With this, they are taking an important step towards transparent, fair and verifiable use of AI, with respect for Dutch and European values and guidelines, and with due regard for data ownership. Funding for this model comes from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy (EZK).
