AI in research
Over the past decade, artificial intelligence has played an important role in all kinds of research. It has not only made existing simulations faster using neural networks, but has also helped to better understand complex problems.
These advances made simulations bigger and faster, even as improvements in computing equipment slowed down. We want our members to benefit from the latest developments in computers and software. We do this by providing direct advice, practical examples in specific subject areas and continuous experimentation with modern computers.
While technology experts are already benefiting from these innovations, we also want to involve more people in using this new technology. This is why we are trying out new services and working closely with our members to understand what they need and what new things SURF can offer.
