About SURF Research Day
SURF invites researchers, Research IT staff, library employees, research software engineers, data stewards, PhD candidates, policymakers, and others active in facilitating research to explore the theme of "Lights, camera, research!" at this year's Research Day event on May 20th in Gooiland Hilversum.
This interactive day is dedicated to fostering connections between researchers and research supporters, exchanging knowledge, and celebrating advancements in research, IT and support.
- Research day is completely free of charge for SURF members.
- All sessions are in English.

SURF Research Week is for researchers, research supporters, data stewards, PhD candidates and policymakers at universities, universities of applied sciences, research institutes, university medical centers, and industry.

In the heart of Media City Hilversum, you'll find a modern national monument that has recently been renovated: the Gooiland event venue. On May 20, we anticipate welcoming over 500 visitors, eager to explore current and future technologies designed to enhance and advance their research.
