Content procurement

Access to (scientific) information and publishing in (scientific) journals are at the heart of higher education and research.

We support this by working with the consortia to arrive at favourable contract terms to then negotiate them into contracts with publishers. This is done in close consultation with the negotiating teams of the consortia of university and college libraries, UKB and SHB. The portfolio includes contracts with almost all major national and international publishers, including Elsevier, Springer Nature, Wiley and Wolters Kluwer. We also have agreements with smaller Dutch and foreign publishers.

We engage in content procurement, so that scientific information remains accessible for higher education and research. We play a role in the development of Open Access, take care of contract management and attach great value to knowledge exchange.
