Evelien Renders appointed chair of EUNIS

At the annual EUNIS conference, Evelien Renders was appointed chair. Evelien is advisor on international higher education at SURF, where she focusses on international cooperation around innovative solutions. The appointment is a big step and offers new opportunities for further cooperation and innovation within European higher education.

"I am very grateful for the confidence of the European University Information Systems (EUNIS) board. It will be an exciting year and my mission will be to involve more professionals in EUNIS. We will focus on increasing our visibility and ensuring robust support for our members."

Valuable appointment

Evelien's appointment strengthens the international position and visibility of SURF and its members. It will involve Dutch institutions more closely in sharing experiences and addressing common problems. This is already happening, for example, in EUNIS' most active working group, Enterprise Architecture. The working group collaborates on international architecture models, and architects from SURF and its members carry out principles laid down in the HORA and HOSA.

EUNIS

Founded in 1993, EUNIS unites IT managers in higher education in Europe. The aim of EUNIS is to promote the development of high-quality information systems. EUNIS promotes cooperation between European education and research institutions and builds relationships with supervisory organisations.
