Futuring practice: disruptive education scenarios
How will education change in the future? Four high-school students investigated this in a report, outlining eight disruptive scenarios. They look at the impact of technology, aiming to inspire schools, teachers and students to prepare for a rapidly changing learning environment.
Besides digitalisation, they also look at broader trends, such as new learning methods and the changing needs of students. They stress the importance of adaptability in an educational environment that is evolving ever faster.
With their report, the students hope to inspire schools, teachers and peers to think critically about the future of learning. By identifying potential challenges and opportunities, they encourage educational institutions to prepare for an ever-changing landscape, in which innovation and flexibility will be essential.
