What is SURF doing about interoperability?
  • We focus on promoting cooperation on international standards, with pilots such as EduXS;
  • We are collaborating within the European Digital Education Hub (EDEH) on the development of a European framework for international interoperability in higher education and the design of an associated reference architecture.
  • For networking, we are active in organisations and initiatives such as Géant, EUNIS, 1EdTech and Erasmus Without Papers (EWP).
  • With Npuls, we are working on the project Visual Language for interoperability, supporting conversations on digitisation of education.
  • In Europe, we participate in large pilot projects to test innovative technologies in practice. Examples include DC4EU and WE BUILD.
