Vision of digital educational resources

Promoting working with digital educational resources is a change process that requires embedding in a strategic vision. Besides addressing organisational and technical issues and organising support, lecturer professionalisation is crucial in this process.

Declaration National Approach Digital and Open Educational Resources

During the period of the Acceleration Plan for Educational Innovation with IT (2019-2022), a Declaration National Approach to Digital and Open Educational Resources was developed and signed by the Association of Universities of Applied Sciences, Universities of the Netherlands and SURF. In the Declaration, Dutch higher education institutions agree to work together to create, share, reuse and purchase educational resources.The Approach addresses the steps institutions can take to take control of educational resources, why this is important and how this can also be facilitated at the administrative level.

Vision document educational resources in 2025

During the period of the Acceleration Plan for Educational Innovation with IT (2019-2022), a vision was formulated for digital educational resources, with 2025 as the horizon. This involves an optimal mix of educational resources, regardless of where the materials come from and whether they are commercially offered or open for use. The vision is presented in eight vision statements, along with the building blocks to realise it.
