What you need to know about... blended learning
In this episode of SURF Shorts, hear from education innovation specialist Annette Peet what exactly blended learning is and its benefits.
What is blended learning? It is a mixture of face-to-face and IT-based educational activities, educational resources and tools. For example, a course consisting partly of lectures and partly of online components such as knowledge clips or tests. Ideally, both types of educational activities reinforce each other. What does that look like in practice? Will it become the basis of our education? And are there any drawbacks to this form of education?
