New knowledge-sharing portal for digital learning resources in mbo launched

Among others, mbo teachers, instructors and developers now have access to a new portal for sharing and reusing digital learning materials. This portal, based on edusources and part of a pilot, has been set up especially for the mbo sector.

The portal was launched by the Technology and Built Environment Sector Group (TGO) within a pilot by the MBO Council and Npuls to make quality learning materials accessible.

White-label version edusources

The new portal offers MBO professionals a central place to share, find and reuse digital learning resources and is a white-label version of edusources. This means it works in the same way as edusources, but no longer has that brand name. Educational institutions can eventually, if the pilot is evaluated well, deploy the portal under their own name as a result and adapt and scale it up as they wish.

From MBO to wider application

At the end of June 2025, the MBO Council and Npuls will evaluate the results of the pilot. The insights will be used to further develop the portal, both for the MBO sector and for wider applications. What is currently being tested within TGO can also be deployed in other sectors and within hbo and wo in the future.
