MIIP webinar: Data management in Microsoft 365

This session is part of a broader series of SURF activities in which we support our members in the responsible deployment of AI and/or other services from (US) suppliers. In doing so, we ensure a good balance of in-house services from the sector and a mix of larger and smaller providers from the market. The starting point is that the sector has a say in the use of AI and/or other services from (US) suppliers, and that this is done responsibly. By providing information on this, SURF contributes to this. We also make agreements around privacy, security and purchasing with suppliers.

The programme

With the growth of data within Microsoft 365, it is becoming increasingly difficult to keep control over (sensitive) information. This entails various risks. Moreover, additional costs can arise when you exceed storage limits. Avoid regulatory violations and unnecessary storage costs with a thoughtful data strategy. Using examples from the UK, AvePoint's speakers will show how they have tackled this successfully with schools.
