Access to compute services

We provide researchers with capacity and expertise for high performance computing, data processing and cloud computing. Find out how you can request access and support from SURF.

High performance compute facilities at universities

Several universities in the Netherlands also offer a high performance computing environment which is capable of achieving a performance around 1-2 PFlops.

These powerful servers allow researchers, PhD students and students connected to the university to edit their research data and perform calculations. Those interested can request access to the systems directly from their university.

Scale up to the next step in compute

When the HPC capacity at your university is not sufficient, the next step is to apply for capacity on the HPC computing and data facilities at SURF, such as the supercomputer Snellius.

For more info and application options for Snellius and other services, go to access to compute services.
